Everyone seems to have heard about the new Facebook Graph search, but very few people truly understand what it means and what implications it will have on the Facebook user experience.

However, with the new Facebook Graph search you could search facebook for Chocolate and find out the following:
- The Facebook Page for chocolate
- People who like chocolate
- Your friends who like chocolate
- Photos of chocolate
- Photos of chocolate before given date.
Clearly this is a more intuitive form of internet searching, one that could certainly have the gods at Google thinking about what they will need to do to improve their search algorithms and experience.
Facebook Graph Search Vs Google Search
It’s unclear yet if and how the Facebook Graph search will compare to Google, and if it will threaten Google’s dominance as a search engine.
It may be that people are just too much embedded in the habit of googling anything for information. Alternatively, it may be that because people already spend a huge amount of time on Facebook that they naturally adopt the new Facebook Graph search.
